Recently, I have been studying Chinese hard because I am going to take a Chinese exam in November. The exam is called HSK. It is held twice a year in Niigata. I have taken the exam once. However, I’m a bit nervous because it’s been a while since last time and it is more difficult than last exam. SALC has a lot of HSK texts, so I often borrow them. Also, I can concentrate on studying in the place.

I learned that Ms. Burtz project has many benefits. First, regional revitalization told local people who cannot find attractive points of local. In addition, trail running is not only gathering people from outside, but also it serves as an international education site. I found that Ms. Burtz’s a project has positive impacts on all participants.
What most left an
impression was the motive for her interest in social issues. She was shocked to
see street children in the Philippines. At the same time, she became interested
in social issues. I believe that we can understand the social issues of the region
in the truest sense of the word by going to the region, just like she did. Thus,
I would like to try working in an overseas NPO.
I was surprised that
she has a goal to build a library. She held trail running in order to achieve
this goal. She had collected funds and spread the region’s appeal to people who
were unfamiliar with there.
She accepted brainstorming
and she thought about what the local people wanted. I think that’s the most
important thing, so I would like to add brainstorming to our group activity. By
thinking outside the box, I think we can steer our project in a good direction.
I would like to make a project in which the local people will work together.
My daily life influenced
by her presentation. I learned that passion for what I want to do is very
important not to waste time. In the future, I want to make a living doing what
I love. Thus, I want to figure out what I want to do with my university life. And
now the time is right, so I’m going to try various things and expand the
possibilities.

about my hobby. My hobby is playing the base. I started playing it after I
became a university student. I have never played a base in public, but I would
like to try. The title of the song I have been practicing recently is “Don’t Look Back in Anger “. This song is very famous. I want
to practice base more and get better.
October 11th was my birthday! I turned 19 this year! My house was decorated with Halloween itemsπ»I ate my mother's homemade a Tiramisu. It is my favorite food, so I was really happy!
Last weekend, my
town held “HAKKO trip”. This is an event where we can buy goods such as soy
sauce, miso and sake. Also, we can see historic buildings in Settaya. My town known as a brewing town. There are
many warehouses in the town. Some warehouses have a history going back hundreds
of years. At this event, I ate a dango. It was very chewy and piping hot. I hope
everyone will come to this event next year.
Hello, I am Yamaguchi Ayano. I major in faculty of
global and regional studies. My home town is Nagaoka city. My hometown is
famous of Nagaoka Fireworks. I go to watch the fireworks every year with my
friend. My recommend place is public square near Nagaoka station. Tourist come
not the place, so the place is a little-known but good place.

However, I don’t like running, so I was a player of long jump. Second, When I was a high school student, I belonged the drama club. I had never acted, but I had an interest in theater.
